The EFAS board
The EFAS board consists of four officers (President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Deputy Treasurer) and one
council member from each national autonomic society.
In addition, there can be up to four individual or honorary members.
The four officers are:

Currently, we have the following co-opt members:

Finally, every affiliated
group or society such as the International Society of Sympathetic
Surgeons, ISSS, also nominates one representative who can attend
and speak at EFAS council meetings.
Currently, three societies are affiliated with EFAS and shall also
nominate one representative who is entitled to attend and speak
at EFAS Council Meetings:
International Society of Sympathetic Surgeons (ISSS),
The current EFAS representative is Ch. Schick, Erlangen,
Germany.
Working Group on Blood Pressure and Heart Rate
Variability of the European Society of Hypertension. The current
EFAS representative is Gianfranco Parati, Milano, Italy.
German Working Group “Diabetes and Nerve”.
The new President is Dan Ziegler, Düsseldorf, Germany.
We have one ex
officio council member, the Editor-in-chief
of Clinical Autonomic Research, CAR, Horacio Kaufmann, New
York, NY, who can also attend and speak at EFAS council meetings.
